Overview
This article will describe when and how you can edit or cancel an existing order before it goes into production for processing.
Order Actions
After being uploaded, your images will be in an order. Here are the actions you can take before the order goes into production:
- Customize the order's name
- Change/add more specifications
- Cancel the order
- Add more images
- Add instructions
Customize the Order's Name
To customize your order's name, click the Pen symbol next to the specification's name:
You can only edit the order's name before checking out the order (when the order is in the "Ready for Checkout" status).
Change/Add More Specifications
To change or add more specifications:
- Click the Order Options drop-down menu => Change Specification
- Turn on/off the specifications you would like to apply => Update
You can only do this before submitting your order.
For each additional specification, you will only pay 20% of the specification's price, which offers you huge savings on multiple output orders!
Cancel Order
To cancel your order:
- Click the Order Options drop-down menu
- Select "Cancel Order"
This action can be done both before and after submitting your order. However, there is a very small window of time to cancel an order after you submit it and before it goes into the Pixelz production system.
If you notice a mistake or change that needs to be made to an order after you submit it, you can still edit the order if the order status is "Ready For Production".
Once your order has gone from the "Ready For Production" status to "In Production", it cannot be changed or canceled.
Once you've canceled your order, you will receive an equivalent number of free image.
Add More Images
To add more images to your order:
- Click the Order Options drop-down menu
- Select "Add Images"
Add Instructions
To add instructions to your order:
- Click the Order Options drop-down menu
- Select "Add Instructions"
How To Add Image Instructions
To add instructions to an individual image or group of images, you can do the following:
1. Select the image or group of images you want to add instructions to (hold down shift to select multiple images next to each other, CTRL / COMMAND to select images not next to each other).
2. Right-click on one of the images.
3. Select the "Add Instructions" option.
Once on the Instructions page, you can select what type of edit you want to specify based on your Pixelz plan and the specifications you have set up.
First, you will choose an Action, then choose what part of the product receives that action. You can add as many actions as you need to the order to fulfill your instructions.
For example, if you need to remove a prop that is holding up the product, you can choose the action "Remove" and then choose "Props." You can use the search bar in the Where section to quickly find the part of the product for which you need to add instructions.
Pixelz Plan Conflicts
If you are requesting instructions that conflict with your Pixelz plan or the specification associated with your order, you will receive a notification that the instruction cannot be added and how to correct the issue.
An example of a plan conflict would be trying to choose Match Color in a Solo plan. If you tried to choose this instruction option, you would receive a notice to upgrade to Professional, as color matching is only offered in that plan.
Specification Conflicts: Action Required
An example of a specification conflict would be trying to add an instruction regarding shadow when the shadow add-on has not been added to the specification. If you tried to choose this instruction option, you would receive a notice to update your specification to include a shadow add-on.
Instructions Not Required
If you select an instruction option that is already included in your specification, we will let you know that you do not need to add it again. An example is asking to recreate a part of the product when that is already included in your retouching package in Professional.
In case these instructions are not accurate enough to cover your editing needs, please check out our Markup extension.
