I/ Overview
Model Swap changes the model in your on-model photos while keeping everything else - garment, styling, and pose - exactly as you shot them.
How Pricing & Output Work:
1 Model = 1 Output Image: Each model you select generates one new image per input photo.
Impact on Total Cost: The price is calculated per output image.
Selecting multiple models will generate more images, which increases the total cost of your order accordingly (e.g., selecting 4 models for 1 photo results in 4 output images and 4x the total cost).
II/ How to create the specification
- From the Specifications tab on the left of Pixelz's platform, click Create New --> Predefined Specifications.
- Open the AI Studio tab --> Model Swap.
Complete 3 steps in the pop-up window.
Step 1: Shot settings
On the left you choose your models and set the Product ID. On the right you see a Before and After example.
Model Library
Choose models from the Female or Male tab:
Selection rules: Pick at least 1 model. You can select multiple models, but they must all be the same gender (no mixing Female and Male). You can create multiple specifications if needed.
How to pick: Click a model to select, click again to remove it. A counter shows your total (e.g., "4 of 12 selected").
Rotation: If you select multiple models, they will rotate across your output photos.
Product ID
The Product ID is the part of your file name that tells us which images belong to the same product. Images that share the same Product ID are processed together as one product.
You build the pattern with the selector, and the Preview box below shows the result. For example, with Before 1st _ or -, the file ABC1234_BLK_front_v2.jpg gives the Product ID ABC1234.
Setting this up is required for this spec, because one input image can create several outputs, so each file needs its own name.
Step 2: Output settings
Choose your preferred file format, compression, dimensions, and metadata settings:
Step 3: Overview and confirmation
Review your settings summary and pricing preview. Click Create Specification to save, then choose to view it in your list or start an order immediately.
Note: Saved specifications cannot be edited - use Back if you need to make changes.
You also see the Before and After example, the price per image, and a link to the Image Terms of Service.
Click Create Specification to save it. You then get a confirmation with two options:
- Go to Specifications: see your specification in the list.
- Create Order: start an order with this specification right away.
📌 Important Notes
Garment & Pose: The original garment, styling, and pose remain unchanged—only the model is replaced.
Output & Pricing: Each selected model generates 1 output image per photo (e.g., 4 models × 1 photo = 4 images and 4x cost).
-
Model Selection Rules:
Must pick at least 1 model from the Pixelz library (custom uploads are not supported).
Multiple models are allowed, but all must be from the same gender category (all Female or all Male).
Edits & Changes: Specifications cannot be edited once saved. Create a new specification if you need to change models or settings.
💡 Tips for Best Results
- Send a clear on-model photo where the garment is fully visible.
- Remember the pose stays the same, so choose an input photo with a pose you are happy with.
- Think about how many models you need before you save. More models means more output images and a higher total cost.
