AI Backgrounds

Overview

AI Backgrounds is an AI Generation feature in the Pixelz Platform that generates a new, on-brand background around your existing product photo from a text prompt. Because only the background is generated, your product itself stays untouched, so its true shape, detail, and colour are preserved as photographed.

AI Backgrounds is available to Professional and Enterprise plans. It is not currently available on the Solo plan.

Creating a Specification

To access this screen, please follow the steps below:

• Login to your Pixelz account
• Select "Specifications" from the menu on the left
• Click the “+” button -> Predefined Specifications -> AI Studio -> AI Backgrounds

1. AI Settings

• Prompt: Describe the background you want. The more specific you are, the better the result. There's plenty of room for detailed creative direction, with more than 200 thousand characters limitation. 

              Example:

• Aspect Ratio: Choose Keep Original to match your uploaded photo's dimensions, or Customize to pick a specific ratio: 21:9, 16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4, or 2:3. Images are always generated at 4K and adapted to your selected aspect ratio.

   2. Output settings

Set your preferred file format, compression, colour profile, bits per channel, and maximum file size for your delivered images, the same output options available across other Pixelz predefined specs.

Placing an order

• Select "Order" from the menu on the left
• Click the “+” button -> Select the AI Backgrounds specification you want to use
• Upload your product photos
• Place your order

Once submitted, your order moves through the following stages:

• In Generation: our proprietary AI Generation workflow uses the best AI engines to generate the image.
• In Aesthetic Review: our team checks the AI-generated output against your prompt before it moves forward.
• In Production: the image goes through our standard post-production pipeline.
• Delivery: you review the final image and can approve or reject it, the same as any other asset on the Pixelz Platform.

Pricing

AI Backgrounds is priced per specification at $2.50.

Turnaround time

After you place an order, the turnaround time will follow your account’s standard Pixelz SLA. Professional and Enterprise plans each have their own turnaround window, just as they do for other order types on the platform.

Rejection

You can reject an AI Backgrounds image the same way you'd reject any other asset on the Pixelz Platform. Once rejected, it goes back into production for correction or regeneration.
