To create a video order, you’ll upload your files via Pixelz Desktop, FTP or a Mobile phone.
Upload Videos to Pixelz via Pixelz Desktop
Start from Pixelz Desktop
- Go to your Orders page.
- Click on the " Add Order".
- Click "Direct Upload" in "Video Order".
- Upload your videos.
- Choose Video Specifications (bulk select media or individually).
- When all media have a specification attached, the button ‘Create order’ is enabled.
Note:
- Video Order options are not available for SOLO and SOLO/Free plans.
- All video orders follow the Product ID rule defined within the selected specification.
- If no Product ID rule is configured for the specification, we will create a separate Product per asset. In this case, the system will automatically apply the default rule of “Take all” based on the filename without extension.
If you need to configure how the final exported video files will be named, please contact our customer support team at cs@pixelz.com or speak directly with your dedicated Customer Success Manager.

2. Install an FTP Client (If You Don’t Have One)
- FTP clients are simple apps that handle the transfer for you.
- We support any FTP client. If you already have one, skip to the next step.
- If you don’t, we recommend FileZilla:
- Download and install it in your computer.
3. Connect to Pixelz FTP
- Open FileZilla (or another FTP client).
- Enter your Host, Username, and Password from Step 1.
- Click "Quick connect".
4. Upload Your Assets
When connected, you’ll see:
- Left side = Your computer.
- Right side = Your Pixelz account.
In your Pixelz account, open the Upload folder. Inside, each of your specifications appears as its own folder.
Find your video specification:
- Open it.
- Drag and drop your video files into the folder.
Tips for organising your files:
- Use separate subfolders for different products.
- Add color references in the same subfolder as the product videos.
- Or, skip subfolders and use clear filenames so related videos stay grouped.
Done! Your files will immediately be uploaded into Pixelz as a video order.
