How Our Video-Editing Service Can Benefit You?

How can I start ordering videos?

You need to contact our sales team at sales@pixelz.com, or if you are an Enterprise client, you can contact your CSM or our CS team at enterprise@pixelz.com.

What kind of videos can I send you?

We create a variety of high-quality videos perfect for your PDP pages! Here are some popular options:

On Figure Studio: Variations of product videos shot in a studio setting featuring models wearing the garments.

On Figure Location: Product videos showcasing models wearing the products in various real-world locations or settings.

Product Spins: 360-degree videos allowing viewers to see the item from all angles.

Product Showcases: Close-up product videos highlighting specific features, materials, or designs.

How can I place an order?

Once your account has been set up, you can upload your video orders via FTP. After the videos have been uploaded, they will appear on your account at http://login.pixelz.com/ on the order page.

Instruction for uploading your videos

To make sure your video uploads are processed correctly, you can choose the upload method that best suits your needs. Here are the supported options for uploading files to the Pixelz FTP:

1. Individual folders

Your first option is to upload individual videos in folders, as seen below:

As shown in the diagram, we will use the folder to group the input of the video order and generate orders for each folder. 

2. Grouped videos by folder

You also have the option to group multiple videos into larger orders. This can make your workflow easier as it allows you to upload multiple videos at the same time and also gives your teammates a way to identify multiple videos that are shot on the same date, with the same model, or that have the same deadline, etc. 

To do this, simply add multiple video folders inside a folder before you upload them:

As shown in the diagram above, we will group multiple videos into “shoot” folders in this case. You can add multiple folders to the structure, and we will use the first folder to define the order and the last folder to define the individual videos.

3. Individual file upload

Your last option for uploading videos would be to upload your input for video orders directly into the video upload folder. In order for our system to correctly identify the correlation between the uploaded input materials and the final videos, you will need to add an identifier to the filenames. 

We use two methods to group your uploaded videos:

1. By filename: If you upload individual video files directly, we rely on a specific identifier in the filename to separate them into individual entries. For example, we might use "Get name before first underscore" to split "ProjectX_Video1" and "ProjectX_Video2" into separate videos. This logic can be customized to match your specific naming conventions, so don't hesitate to let us know your preferences.

2. By upload time: Uploads within one hour are grouped into a single order. Any videos uploaded after that window will be added to a new order.

Instruction for downloading your videos

After your video has been completed, it will be automatically uploaded to the Pixelz FTP inside the “download” folder. Alternatively, download the videos from our platform from the order options menu.

How do I provide feedback on my edited videos?

Once a video is completed, you'll receive an email notification that will take you directly to your order on our platform, where you can watch the completed video alongside any uploaded color references and other materials uploaded with the order.

If you need any adjustments, you can reject the video along with your feedback. This will send the video back to our editing team for revisions.

Track progress: You'll be able to see the status of any revisions and receive a mail notification when the updated version is ready for your review.

FAQs

1. What if I have specific naming preferences?

No problem! Just let us know your preferred naming format, and we can adjust the logic to recognize your filenames and group videos accordingly.

2. How long does it take before my videos are ready?

We understand that speed matters! Our standard turnaround time is 48 hours, but we can often accommodate faster delivery based on specific requirements and volume. Just let us know your needs, and we'll happily discuss options.

Revisions are sent back the next morning.

3. How much do you charge for your video services?

We price based on the time needed to meet your requirements. We'd love to hear more about your vision and desired level of editing.

Generally, our prices range from $5 to $25 per video, with the final cost influenced by the complexity of the raw footage and the editing required.

4. Can you color match the color of videos, and how does it work?

Yes, we can color-match your products across images and videos. Just make sure to include a color reference when you upload your video order. We can color-match the product, model, and background to your references depending on the defined requirements.

5. Can you clean up my products in videos?

While we focus on enhancing your product videos, our services don't currently include extensive video retouching to remove minor imperfections like wrinkles, dust, or scratches. This detailed work can be quite time-consuming and falls outside our standard editing process. However, we'd happily discuss alternative solutions to showcase your products in the best possible light!

6. What software do you use for video editing?

At Pixelz, we use a combination of industry-leading video editing software and custom-built quality assurance tools to deliver high-quality, professionally edited videos. Here's an overview of the tools we use:

Davinci Resolve: We use Davinci Resolve for video editing, which is a professional-grade editing software known for its powerful color grading and correction capabilities.

Custom Quality Assurance Tools: In addition to Davinci Resolve, we have developed custom quality assurance tools to ensure color consistency and accurate color matching across all our video deliverables.

S.A.W Integrated: We have taken the best video editing software in the market and integrated it into our S.A.W production platform. Enabling us to take advantage of our modular and AI-assisted production platform.
