Overview
This article will describe when and how you can edit or cancel an existing order before it goes into production for processing.
Order Actions
After being uploaded, your images will be in an order. Here are the actions you can take before the order goes into production:
- Customize the order's name
- Change/add more specifications
- Cancel the order
- Add more images
- Add instructions/Comments
Customize the Order's Name
To customize your order's name, click the Pen symbol next to the specification's name:
You can only edit the order's name before checking out the order (when the order is in the "Ready for Checkout" status).
Change/Add More Specifications
To change specifications:
- Click the Specification drop-down menu -> Select the new specification
You can only do this before submitting your order.
Note: Each image is assigned a single specification. However, an order may contain multiple images, and each image can be associated with a different specification. For example, Image 1 may use Specification A, while Image 2 may use Specification B.
Cancel Order
To cancel your order:
- Click the three-dot menu for Order options.
- Select "Cancel Order"
This action can be done both before and after submitting your order. However, there is a very small window of time to cancel an order after you submit it and before it goes into the Pixelz production system.
If you notice a mistake or a change that needs to be made to an order after you submit it, you can still edit the order if the order status is "Ready For Production".
Once your order has gone from the "Ready For Production" status to "In Production", it cannot be changed or canceled.
Once the order has been canceled, if you are postpaid, you will receive an equivalent number of free image credits for the canceled images.
Add More Images
To add more images to your order:
- Click the three-dot menu for Order options.
- Select "Add Media"
Add Instructions/Comments
To add instructions/comments to your order:
- Click the three-dot menu for Order options.
- Select "Add comment"
To add instructions/comments to an individual image, you can do the following:
Click the three-dot menu for Image options.
Select the "Add comment"
Use the annotation tools to highlight the area that requires attention.
Color-Coded Annotations
You can draw directly on the image to indicate specific areas for adjustment. Selecting a color automatically applies a predefined instruction:
- 🔴 Red = Remove
- 🟠 Orange = Smooth
- 🟡 Yellow = Clean
- 🟢 Green = Straighten
- 🔵 Blue = Reduce
- 🟣 Purple = Shape
- ⚫ Black = Restore
To provide additional details, click Comment under the Quality section and enter your custom instructions.
Note: Free-text comments are not available on the Solo plan. Solo users can only use the predefined color-coded annotations.
Specification Conflicts
A specification conflict occurs when a requested edit is not included in the image specification. Providing comments that align with your specification helps avoid delays and ensures your images are processed correctly.
Example: You request a shadow adjustment using a comment, but the selected specification does not include the Shadow Add-on.
In this case, after reviewing the rejection comment, our team will contact you to update the specification to include the required add-on.
