Tết Holiday In Vietnam
Tết, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, is the most important public holiday in Vietnam and a big part of Pixelz’s history and tradition.
The Vietnamese Lunar New Year, known locally as Tết, is the celebration of the arrival of spring following the Vietnamese Lunar calendar. During Tết, people often go home to their families and spend the week reflecting on the past year and looking forward to what the new year holds.
On the first day of Tết, people will spend time with their immediate families, and on the subsequent days, they will visit their friends, relatives, and teachers who hold an important standing in Vietnamese culture.
Each Lunar New Year has an animal associated with it. According to the Vietnamese Horoscope, 2026 is the year of the Fire Horse (Bính Ngọ). In case you're curious, the Fire Horse (Bính Ngọ), symbolizes strength, vitality, and forward momentum. So, get ready for 2026!
