Predefined Specifications

Overview

Predefined Specifications simplify and speed up your onboarding by letting you choose from ready-made templates that automatically apply the right image retouching settings. This helps you get started quickly and also gives you a better understanding of the full range of Pixelz services, including e-commerce, editorial, and video retouching. Overall, it streamlines the setup of your account and helps you submit images/ videos faster.

Predefined Specifications are available to all account types, including Free Trial, SOLO, PRO, and Enterprise.

Predefined Specifications are ready-made templates covering a wide range of needs, including:

• E-commerce
• Editorial
• Video
• Marketplaces

Creating a Predefined Specification

To access this new screen, please follow the steps below:

• Login to your Pixelz account
• Select "Specifications" from the menu on the left
• Click the green "Create New" button  -> "Predefined Specifications" -> Continue”
• Browse through categories at the tab on the top (e.g: E-commerce, Video, Editorial, or Marketplaces) and select a template
• Review and adjust output preferences
• Save a Predefined Specification.
• After saving, you can either create an order immediately or find it later in your specification list.
• You can use the saved specification to create orders. The number of times it can be used is unlimited.

Predefined Specification Categories

1. E-commerce

E-commerce Predefined Specification offers standardized retouch specifications for common product categories such as:

• 3D Mannequin
• Acessories
• Footwear
• Laying Flats
• On Model

By selecting the category, you will be able to see an overview of settings included in the specification, such as: 

• Specification title (customizable)
• Predefined settings list (non-customizable)
• Before-after example
• Output setting: When you click "Go to output settings", you will be able to set up your own basic settings such as color profile, file format, bits per channel, etc. 

2. Editorial

Predefined specifications for high-end retouching, covering foundational tasks like editorial masking and retouching

• Editorial Mask

• Editorial Retouch

• Editorial Custom

  

3. Video

Predefined specifications for common post-production needs like color adjustment, composition, and custom requests.

• Color Only

• Composition and Color

• Video Custom

  

4. Marketplaces

You can also easily find marketplace-specific templates, all organized alphabetically for faster access.

As part of this update, we’ve removed outdated specs for Jet.com, Sears, NewEgg, Amazon Product Ads, and Bol.com to keep the list relevant and focused.
