Introduction
Managing a large collection of images can be challenging, especially when dealing with multiple projects and deadlines. The Media Library extension is designed to simplify image management for Professional and Enterprise users, providing tools to organize, search, and store images efficiently. This article introduces the Media Library and explains how it can help streamline your workflow.
Description
The Media Library extension allows users to create collections, customize storage settings, and search images dynamically based on various criteria, such as time, uploader, and status. If an image needs to be replaced due to licensing or other reasons, the extension makes it easy to find and update it. Additionally, any uploaded folders are automatically added to the system, making monitoring and managing your images easy.
Accessing the Media Library
For the Enterprise plan: To add the extension, please contact your CSM or our CS team at enterprise@pixelz.com. They will assist you in setting up and getting started.
The Media Library can be accessed in the dashboard of your account, in the Extension Store on the menu on the left of your screen. You can add Media Library to your monthly plan from $25/ month or $240/ year for 100 GB of storage. If you need more storage, you can upgrade your storage plan.
Here's an overview of the pricing of the storage plan in USD for monthly and annual plans:
You can also enjoy a 14-day trial to explore the convenience of this feature before committing.
Using the Media Library
Image Management
Since all of your current images are stored within the Media Library, you can access numerous filters and sorting tools to find the photos you need quickly. Want to view pictures awaiting your approval? You can filter by this option. Need to see all images processed under a specific specification? There's a filter for that, too!
Progress Bar
Storage usage is visualized via a progress bar at the top right of the Media Library.
By default, the progress bar is filled with color Blue/500.
After reaching 90% of storage capacity, we show it with a visual warning in the progress bar, with a difference depending on the range:
90%-94% (color Orange/400)
95%-98% (color Red/600)
>99% (color Red/800)
Storage Display:
- Units (GB/TB) match your plan.
- Clicking the bar opens a modal with total storage, current plan, and upgrade options.
- Storage is calculated daily.

Changes take effect once Save Changes is clicked.

Visible only when the "Automatically delete" is selected. Choose a retention period to manage how old your images are removed.

Show the settings of the current storage plan, remaining space and options to increase it.
You can click on "View more plans" to see all storage options we offer.
Plans over 10TB are applied directly without redirect and are billed later.

Delete Function
Delete Assets from Media Library
In the Media Library, we allow the deletion of media by the Delete option in the actions dropdown in the Card.
If a media item is rejected and returned to the production system, it cannot be deleted. Similarly, if a collection (e.g., Product Card or Folder Card) contains at least one such item, the entire collection cannot be deleted.
You can select multiple media and bulk delete them.
In Product Tab or Folder Tab, you can also select and delete items:
Automatically Delete Assets
In the Media Library settings page, the user can select the option “Automatically Delete Oldest Assets”.
When this option is selected, the system will automatically remove older assets to make room for the new ones.
