Tết Holiday In Vietnam
Tết, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, is the most important public holiday in Vietnam and a big part of Pixelz’s history and tradition.
The Vietnamese Lunar New Year, known locally as Tết, is the celebration of the arrival of spring following the Vietnamese Lunar calendar. During Tết, people often go home to their families and spend the week reflecting on the past year and looking forward to what the new year holds.
On the first day of Tết, people will spend time with their immediate families, and on the subsequent days, they will visit their friends, relatives, and teachers who hold an important standing in Vietnamese culture.
Each Lunar New Year has an animal associated with it. According to the Vietnamese Horoscope, 2025 is the year of the Snake - more specifically, the Wood Snake. The sign of the Snake is a symbol of wisdom, adaptability, and fortune. Based on this, 2025 looks promising.
Delivery Plan during Tết
This year, Tết falls on Wednesday, January 29th, which means the majority of our staff will be away celebrating with their families and friends before and after January 29th. To support our team during the holiday, we are running at reduced production capacity in Vietnam throughout the Tết week.
What this means to you is that:
- For Enterprise subscribers: Deadline extension of 48 hours to orders uploaded from Monday through Friday, Jan 27 - Jan 31 (UTC), except for those who have agreed on a custom extension with your CSMs.
- For Professional subscribers: Deadline extension of 48 hours to orders uploaded from Tuesday through Thursday, Jan 28 - Jan 30 (UTC), except for those who have agreed on a custom extension with your CSMs.
- For SOLO subscribers: Deadline extension of 48 hours to orders uploaded from Monday through Wednesday, Jan 27 - Jan 29 (UTC).
Also, the Expedite service and FLOW service will not be available during the week.
This production plan has been adjusted to make sure we’re delivering the best possible edits for you while also taking care of our team’s well-being. However, stay assured that our support team will operate as usual throughout the holiday to assist you.
