Introduction
Managing a large collection of images can be challenging, especially when dealing with multiple projects and deadlines. The Image Library extension is designed to simplify image management for Professional and Enterprise users, providing tools to organize, search, and store images efficiently. This article introduces the Image Library and explains how it can help streamline your workflow.
Description
The Image Library extension allows users to create collections, customize storage settings, and search images dynamically based on various criteria, such as time, uploader, and status. With 100 GB of storage, this tool ensures you'll never lose track of important images. If an image needs to be replaced due to licensing or other reasons, the extension makes it easy to find and update it. Additionally, any uploaded folders are automatically added to the system, making monitoring and managing your images easy.
Accessing the Image Library
For the Professional plan: The Image Library can be accessed in the dashboard of your account, in the Extension Store on the menu on the left of your screen. You can add Image Library to your monthly plan for an additional $25 per month or reduce the cost to $19 per month with an annual commitment.
You can also enjoy a 14-day trial to explore the convenience of this feature before committing.
For the Enterprise plan: To add the Markup extension, please contact your CSM or our CS team at enterprise@pixelz.com.
They will assist you in setting up and getting started.
Using the Image Library
Collection View
With any folder or set of images, you have the option to create your own unique view to categorize them within the Image Library. By creating collections, you can set up specific rules for new images and folders to automatically be added and sorted into a specific folder.
For example, if you want any order completed in December to go into the Winter Collection folder, you can set this date range up as a rule for the collection. Then any image or order uploaded during that date range will automatically sort into the Winter Collection folder, to be easily found and accessible.
Image Management
Since all of your current images are stored within the Image Library, you can access numerous filters and sorting tools to find the photos you need quickly. Want to view pictures awaiting your approval? You can filter by this option. Need to see all images processed under a specific specification? There's a filter for that, too!
Additional information:
1. Image Library also keeps images in your account permanently instead of for 30 days.
* The default setting is 30 days. If you wish to keep images in your account permanently, you need to change this setting by going to Account Settings >> Image Library >> Change to 'Infinite' >> Save Changes
2. Are you using the web interface or API to upload? The Image Library easily stores and sorts all of your images so that they can be easily searched and categorized in your account.
Unsubscribing the Image Library
For the Professional plan: To unsubscribe from the Image Library, go to the Image Library in the left-hand menu and turn auto-renew to OFF. The extension will remain available until the end of the pre-paid billing period, when it will be removed from the account.
For the Enterprise plan: To unsubscribe from the Image Library, please get in touch with your CSM or our CS team at enterprise@pixelz.com.
