This article describes the different cropping options that are available with the Professional product.
Cropping an image to a specific canvas size or aspect ratio in your specification is a core editing feature within the Pixelz platform. When you are navigating through the Onboarding section of Professional to create a new specification, you'll be able to choose your cropping requirements on the Set Image Size screen:
Based on your selection during the Onboarding process of how you shoot your images (ie Apparel, Flat, On Mannequin etc..), you'll be presented with some best practice options for a cropping aspect ratio. However, if the best practice options do not meet your cropping requirements, you can use the Custom option at the bottom of the page to select a specific pixel size or aspect ratio for your images:
Finalizing Cropping Requirements
Once you've chosen your cropping requirements, simply select Set, then click the green Continue bar at the bottom of the page to continue with creating the rest of your specification. Remember, that the images you upload to a specification but be at least the same size as your chosen canvas size or larger. For example, if you've chosen a 1000x1000 canvas size, the images you upload to that specification much be at least 1000x1000 or larger. Pixelz does not enlarge images as we cannot guarantee the quality.
